Perkins - York, PA

Good stuff from Jo at Perkins. She claimed a love for burnt toast as well. She made it herself.

Cracker Barrel - York, PA

Success!

I loved Cracker Barrel even before this visit. The toast was perfect. I left Denise a great tip. Nothing more can be said.

IHOP - Rehoboth Beach, DE

Sarah had promise, she kept the water glasses full, and the eggs were over easy. The toast however...

Baglemania - Weston, FL

I ordered the 2 egg special with grits and burnt rye toast. I guess the sesame bagel in the basket received the burning. I must say, the grits were the best I ever had. Juanita got a good tip anyway, as it was a great place for breakfast. The company was good too.

So I don't Order Toast As Much As I Should

Recent events will probably generate a bit more traffic here, and to fill you in, I still love Burnt Rye Toast, I just have been on a panckake kick lately. Also the biscuits at Craker Barrel are great with some apple butter.

I promise, I'll get some BRT up here, also I may comment on more than toast. How many of you have ordered that salad or burger without onions only to get half a red onion cut on your bun.

Enjoy.

York Hospital - York, PA

I told the wife to write burnt next to the selection on the menu they gave her. I don't think the doctor approved.

Lion's Pride Restaurant - Red Lion, PA

I told Jan to burn the toast. She wrote dark on the order. I don't think this even qualifies as dark.

Cracker Barrel - York, PA

I ordered the toast to dip in to my eggs (over easy). I asked Tami to burn the toast. It looks like the edges might have been toasted. Next time, I'll stick with the sausage gravy and biscuits.

Summit Restaurant - Lewisberry, PA

We stopped for breakfast about 6:00am on the way to see Temple vs. Penn State at Beaver Stadium. This is one will be tough to beat.
